"Deborah is one of the most knowledgeable people I know when it comes to both Federal and California prevailing wage compliance. She is able to assist contractors, in a very easy to understand way, about the very complex requirements of prevailing wage. Her book, What Every Contractor Should Know About Prevailing Wages, should be a staple resource in every contractor's library. I know it is for me. My copy is already well used”

- Anne Quick, former chair of the California Apprenticeship Council

THE VALUE OF   LABOR COMPLIANCE

Some projects require the review and enforcement of prevailing wages, such as ARRA funded projects, other states, counties, or cities mandate prevailing wage compliance.

However, some public agencies choose to collect and review certified payroll and labor compliance issues as a matter of public policy for the following reasons:

High profile projects under public scrutiny

Concern by local labor groups

As an alternate to PLA’s

Public policy to ensure all contractors are competing fairly

Public policy to ensure all workers are paid proper wages

CCMI’s proactive education and compliance monitoring helps contractors comply with State and Federal prevailing wage requirements. These requirements are strictly enforced to ensure that workers are paid all appropriate wages and overtime.
